Flippin' Kentucky

In every way possible, we've tried to avoid the phrase, "flipping houses". The phase and intent seems so disrespectful. And yet, that's exactly the heart and soul of what we do at FORM. It was a friend and colleague who provided the paradigm shift I needed to feel proud of the term when she said, "...you don't just flip houses...you flip people!" I knew instantly what she meant. I love to work with people to help them see the best in themselves and (hopefully) inspire them to flourish. And that's exactly the foundation (pardon the pun) of FORM. We are inspired by every home we enter---no matter the shape it's in. (And we've seen some doozies!) We begin at the finish line: Where each house is converted to its best. Then we get right to work on renovations to that end. And we never lose site of the family who first lived in the home, nor the next family who will call it their home.

So, yes, we've made peace with the term "flipping houses". In fact, we've embraced the term enough to name it for this blog, "Flippin' Kentucky". And while we may be learning our way through blogging, we're pretty proud of our projects and what we do to transform the worst of houses into something very special. We hope you will enjoy being with us on the journey. Perhaps we will provide a channel to inspire you to either find your own flip----or through our bumps in the road, decide renovating is just not for you! Either way, that's inspiring to us!
